Method Raster
Vector method

In HUU 2 method is a method that displays raster and vector mode.

Method Raster
– The electron beam scans across the screen from left to right in each row, to the end of each row, then head off and returns the next row.
– Each pixel is a pixel on the screen
– Photo shown is the horizontal straight line, Each line has many pixels. The switching of pixels depends on the intensity of the electron beam and this is the mechanism that makes the image on the screen.

* Advantages: The principle of operation is similar to that of a television, good quality.
* Defect: There is a ladder effect.

raster mode

Vector method
– Scan vectors according to the beginning and end points coordinates. Use the beam steering roll to scan into straight lines so the image is divided into straight lines and in turn draws them.
– Only move a few times necessary to create the image. While in the middle of the two ends of the line, the beam will never turn off.

* Advantages:
– Suitable display of image objects
– Uses less memory
– There is no step phenomenon
* Defect: Take time when drawing complex shapes
