[Linux] Bring interface for Photoshop Gimp
Aims to help you use Photoshop, Martin Owens has created a combination of Gimp and Photoshop interface by bringing photoshop for gimp, There are also icons and shortcuts again. However, this version uses the standard for Gimp 2.8, if you use Gimp 2.9 or larger may be some functions will not be perfect.
Settings
1. Download GIMP Photosop Tweaks and unpack at home
Note this is only the configuration Gimp, also previously of course you must install Gimp got you.
2. Create a backup of the previous configuration Gimp
– With Gimp 2.8
mv ~/.gimp-2.8 ~/.gimp-2.8.old
– With Gimp 2.9
mv ~/.config/GIMP/2.9 ~/.config/GIMP/2.9.old
3. Installing Gimp Photoshop tweaks
You just unzip the downloaded file into ~/.gimp-2.8(hidden in the home directory, Ctrl + H to see hidden folders) for Gimp 2.8. With Gimp 2.9 you decompress in ~/.config/GIMP/ is finished.
Back to the default
If you look unfamiliar with this interface eyes or was acquainted with Gimp without'd like Photoshop, you can revert by later:
– With Gimp 2.8
rm -r ~/.gimp-2.8 mv ~/.gimp-2.8.old ~/.gimp-2.8
– With Gimp 2.9
rm -r ~/.config/GIMP/2.9 mv ~/.config/GIMP/2.9.old ~/.config/GIMP/2.9
